Random July - Aug photos
Sorry for the lack of blogging lately! We've been very busy these days leading up to the wedding. After the 4th of July it has been a whirlwind of day trips to the Cape May on the weekends, loads of work for Troy, Troy's bachelor party, Stella/Silas sleepovers and wedding planning. Here are some random pictures of the last month.

Fourth of July
The 4th of July was a FULL DAY of FUN at the Defibaugh Nature House.
Bill, Chrissie and Wyatt, Troy and I, Mom and Don, Jill, Nate, Stella and Silas, and Pam and Alex enjoyed Marsh Creek with a picnic lunch and taking turns kayaking while the little kids played in the water. We went back to the nature house and had champagne on the deck and Jill and Nate cooked a delish traditional burgers and corn on the cob dinner! The kids played all day long!

Couple more pictures from my shower
My Bridal Shower
Friday morning - The BMs arrive:
Jordan flew in from San Francisco and got in at 6am! We made muffins and chicken salad during the day. Jill and Stella arrived around 2. We went and picked up Rachel from San Diego at 4:30 and headed to MadMex to meet Troy and show the girls where Troy and I first met! While we waited to Michelle's flight to arrive from Maryland she called saying her flight was delayed :( and we decided to go home for a nice sleep and Jill and Rachel would go to pick Michelle up later.

Saturday - The day of the Bridal Shower:
Jill and I went for an early walk then everyone was in shower and dress mode. We got to the Lakemont Clubhouse and set up!
Below are my bridesmaids and flower girl
Rachel, Jill, Stella, Michelle and Jordan

My Mom and a girls photos

Aunt DeeDee, Aunt Linda and Paulette, Troy's Mom and my "Mom-to-be"

Mom and her sisters, Aunt Carmine, Aunt Maria and Aunt Kathy (thank you for the surprise!)

Lakemont Clubhouse - food and drink we made

The shower begins - Stella was such a great flower girl with giving the ribbons to Michelle and unwrapping - she helped me the whole party.

Mom got me some "naughty bits" along with other things but the "bits" were a hit with the crowd:

Paulette was happy for Troy:

Guests and gift giving/receiving:

IUP College roomies:

The Undies - "One HOT Dish"

The Jen's (we're missing one!):

Troy came at the end of the party to visit and say Thank you:

Troy got to open one of our gifts from his Mom. She got us Sid Dickens tiles to add to our collection.

Even Wyatt visited with Stella. For the favors, I gave handmade soaps from Spotted Hill Farm wrapped in the Florentine paper we used in the invitations.

My Bachelorette party was very chill! I relaxed with my BMs at my mom's house. Jill - where are you in these pics!? She was there, as was mom. We sent Don to his room. haha! We had champagne, swimming, made pizzas, drank Italian wine and topped it off with gelato with Hershey chocolate syrup. Lots of laughs and conversation.

The perfect end to a perfect day!
