Message and Photos from Crystal and Forrest:

AHHH - We're engaged! I'm so excited I can't stand it! I don't want to do anything but stare at my ring . . . with sunglassed on of course! So here's the story in case you didn't hear it: We were going fishing at our favorite spot and the first place we went fishing together. When we walked out the door our poor kitty was walking to the steps with a face full of quills -she'd been porqupined! So I hel her down while Forrest pulled out all the quills and I ended up crying the entire morning! So we get to the lake and Forrest drives the boat over to our favorite pike spot. He asks me what I'm going to use - I dig in the tackle box and say "I'm going with the black spinner." He says "well, what about this one?" I turn around and he's holding my gorgeous ring in his hand and asks me to marry him! Of course I said yes and we proceeded to have a wonderful day fishing! It was an amazing day and I couldn't have dreamed it would be more perfect - down to the Steelers game to wrap it up! Thank you all for such a wonderful welcome into your family - I couldn't ask for a better family to join! Here's some pictures of the ring...
